Apple pays tribute to Steve Jobs . After one year of passing of “Steve jobs” the co-founder and former Apple CEO Apple has made a video and have posted it on Apple.com.
Apple’s now CEO Tim Cook has also posted a note, which pays tribute to Steve Jobs:
A message from Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO
Steve’s passing one year ago today was a sad and difficult time for all of us. I hope that today everyone will reflect on his extraordinary life and the many ways he made the world a better place.
One of the greatest gifts Steve gave to the world is Apple. No company has ever inspired such creativity or set such high standards for itself. Our values originated from Steve and his spirit will forever be the foundation of Apple. We share the great privilege and responsibility of carrying his future legacy into the future.
I’m incredibly proud of the work we are doing, delivering products that our customers love and dreaming up new ones that will delight them down the road. It’s a wonderful tribute to Steve’s memory and everything he stood for.
Steve Jobs passed away on October 5 at the age of 56. When he passed away many authors, entrepreneurs CEO’s and all paid tribute to him . Here are a few words of some of them:
GS Choi of Samsung said, “Chairman Steve Jobs introduced numerous revolutionary changes to the information technology industry and was a great entrepreneur. His innovative spirit and remarkable accomplishments will forever be remembered by people around the world.” Mark Zuckerberg said, “Steve, thank you for being a mentor and a friend. Thanks for showing that what you build can change the world. I will miss you.”
Steve Ballmer, CEO of Microsoft also shared a few words, “I want to express my deepest condolences at the passing of Steve Jobs, one of the founders of our industry and a true visionary. My heart goes out to his family, everyone at Apple and everyone who has been touched by his work.”
After Steve Job’s death apple held a private memorial in which only apple employees were allowed and it was held in an outdoor amphitheatre at its headquarters in Cupertino.
