[dropcap]F[/dropcap]acebook being the most famous and the most used social network gets a bang on with tons of photos and videos being uploaded every minute and every hour. Those photos and videos capture special moments which people love to share with their friends and family on Facebook. But what if you want to download Facebook videos so that you can keep those memories always with you and save them for anywhere access. While the download option is available for photos there is no such option to download videos from Facebook. And hence I decided to write this tutorial for Iocreed readers to download videos from Facebook.

There are many options to download videos from Facebook. One is that if you have IDM i.e. Internet Download Manager on your PC then it will show the download button on its own. You just need to click on the Download Button to download video from IDM.
Besides this there are many websites which allow you to do the same. You just need to enter the URL of the Facebook video. But on most of the websites it becomes quite a painful task to download Facebook videos due to the type of URL of Facebook videos (which ends in PHP/v=xxxxxxx). Most of the sites would show an error to this. Thus I have come up with this tutorial to download Facebook videos from one of the sites (Downvids) easily.
- Open the video which you want to download in a new tab. To open a video in new tab: Right click on the video and then click on “Open link in New Tab”.
- Now open Downvids.net and paste the URL of the video in the box provided for the same and click on Download button.Go to Downvids: Downvids.net
- A thumbnail of the video appears along with a download link.
- Click on the link to download the video (See the screenshot below).
To download videos from Facebook is not a difficult task. Just follow the steps mentioned above and you’ll be able to download any video from Facebook.
If you face problems in any of the steps do comment and let me know. Comments otherwise and appreciation and suggestion are also welcome. Happy Browsing 🙂
